Our Master Plan for the Burlington Beach Regional Waterfront Park won an Honor Award from the Waterfront Center! The award was presented to Principal Anne McIlroy at the Churchill Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Master Plan takes a comprehensive look at Burlington’s waterfront, balancing the needs for recreation with the need to preserve, protect, and restore the waterfront’s natural beach and dune features. Improvements to Lakeshore Road and the Waterfront Trail will enhance connections to the broader community and support healthy living through active transportation.
