Oscar Lam is a planner with experience in urban design. His professional goal is to use his multidisciplinary background to create complete communities, and in his work, strives to develop strong relationships between the public realm and built form. His understanding of planning policies and design principles strengthens his ability to provide vibrant solutions for existing and new neighbourhoods. Oscar is currently an OPPI Candidate member and holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University in Toronto.
At Brook McIlroy, Oscar’s work has included urban design briefs, master plans, planning rationales, avenue segment studies, campus master plans, urban design guidelines, and LPAT witness statements. He is also involved with planning applications for Zoning By-law, Official Plan, and Site Plan Amendments. Prior to Brook McIlroy, Oscar worked with Program Management Third Party at Metrolinx, where he supported the GO Expansion program. He was involved in the New Stations Working Group and supported his team with property acquisitions, planning applications, and GIS spatial analysis.
