Jessica Palmer is a Landscape Designer at Brook McIlroy who came to landscape architecture with a decade of experience working in the visual arts sector as an art installation technician, printmaker, and community arts organizer. Jessica uses her background in the arts to harness the vast potential of creative collaboration and believes in the transformative power of landscapes to deepen relationships to place and natural systems.

Most recently, Jessica worked at the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty as a Sessional Instructional Assistant in the Master of Landscape Architecture program and as Design Workshop Technician in the Daniels Model Workshop. She helped teach classes in Visual Communication, leading tutorials in graphic representation and terrain modelling software, and supported students in creating architectural models and wood fabrication projects.

Jessica holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University, and is from Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island.
