Graham supports the many teams at Brook McIlroy through research, writing, photography, and digital storytelling. His work in architecture and the built environment is broadly influenced by his background in philosophy. He is interested in the interaction between well-established concepts of the professional disciplines and the intuitive ideas that define the everyday relationship to the built world. This has informed his research on urban design and planning projects such as official plan reviews, and the degree to which a professional document can express a community’s own identity.
Graham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. He has had a life-long interest in the history and ideas of music, particularly the preclassical and modernist periods.
