Benjamin Luong is the Marketing Coordinator at Brook McIlroy. At the firm, he helps with the development of project proposals, maintains key communications resources, and plays a vital role in the graphic communications and brand development of the company. As a graduate of the Toronto Metropolitan’s (formerly known as Ryerson University) Bachelor of Architectural Science program, Benjamin uses knowledge and work experience within the architecture industry to advance the firm’s vision and identity. Benjamin is also a multidisciplinary designer and is passionate about user-experience and editorial design. With a User Experience Design certificate from the BrainStation Academy, his interests often translate into engaging work that speaks and empathizes with the target audience.
Benjamin has spent time working in the AEC industry as a Designer prior to his time at Brook McIlroy. At Cumulus Architects Inc., Benjamin took part in all phases of the project schedule while successfully supporting the team through high-pressure deadlines and resource constraints. His project experience spans from retail located at the Toronto Pearson Airport to complex medical offices and large-scale entertainment complexes in Ontario. Notable works include the MAC Kiosk at Pearson Airport, Humber River MRI Suite and the Gateway Hanover Casino. In addition to his role as a Designer at Cumulus Architects, Benjamin also took part in the business development aspects of the profession through proposals and graphics development leading to his background in marketing. In New York City, Benjamin worked under interior design firm Russell Piccione Design, acquiring experience through multiple high-end residential projects.
