Anne McIlroy is a Principal of Brook McIlroy and has over thirty five years of experience as an urban designer and project principal for projects across Canada and the United States. She is a graduate of Fine Art and Architecture from the University of Toronto.  Anne has expertise with university, waterfront and community master plans, and has recently been the Project Principal for master plans with the University of Toronto, Victoria University at UofT and Carleton University in Ottawa. Anne loves to work with students and community stakeholders. Her ability to listen, consider different opinions and local issues ensures each project reflects the voice of the entire community.

Anne is the Past Chair of the National Capital Commission Advisory Committee on Planning Design and Realty, the Toronto Community and Housing Design Review Panel, the Mississauga Design Review Panel and was an inaugural member of the Toronto Waterfront Design Review Panel. She is a recognized expert in public consultation and serves regularly as a juror for Architecture and Urban Design competitions and award programs, and as a lecturer for Universities and City Building Forums.
