Andrea Mantin brings a broad range of creative skills to the team at Brook McIlroy. Prior to studying landscape architecture at the University of Toronto, Andrea received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art History from Concordia University and a second BFA in Studio Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She has worked as a landscape designer, curator, visual artist and exhibition designer in Canada and the United States. She served as an exhibition project coordinator at the American Museum of Natural History in New York before co-founding Mantin Leblanc Design, where she has developed site-specific installations for commercial and residential clients.
With a particular interest in issues of cultural identity and place-making, Andrea has been deeply involved in Brook McIlroy’s work with Indigenous communities and has had an active role in community engagement and design development on a number of key Indigenous place making projects.
