Pooja earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Mumbai, India, in 2010 and is a licensed architect. With experience in the architectural and interior design of institutional, residential, and commercial projects, she brings a wealth of comprehensive design and technical skills to each project. Pooja is passionate about pushing the envelope and unveiling new ideas and methodologies, to design spaces that achieve a synergy of aesthetics and function. Through her years of experience in client and project management, she has successfully led many projects from programming and design through to construction.
Currently at Brook McIlroy, Pooja is managing several projects, including the design and construction of an Interior renovation at Mohawk College, the construction of Scanlon Creek Operations Centre, a space planning study for Victoria University, and the design and documentation of an incubator space for the Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Pooja was actively involved with the contract administration for Toronto’s first award-winning mass timber building. Prior to joining the firm, Pooja gained invaluable experience in design and construction in Canada and India of educational facilities, interiors for residential and commercial buildings, and mixed-use projects.
