INDIGENOUS CULTURAL MARKERS AT HUMBER COLLEGE UNVEILED NOVEMBER 8
November 6th, 2018Thursday, November 8 is the official unveiling of the Indigenous Cultural Markers at Humber College's Lakeshore Campus. Designed by Brook McIlroy's Indigenous Design Studio in collaboration with artist and architectural designer David Thomas, these markers are intended to place the college in the context of the long history of Indigenous Peoples in what is now called the Greater Toronto Area.
The markers were featured along with architect Ryan Gorrie's work this summer in the 2018 Venice Biennale. Visit the Humber College website to learn the stories behind the markers.
